The most authentic place to spend the holiday season, Italy starts the Christmas Season on December 8th with the Immaculate Conception and ends January 6th after the Epiphany.  The cities and piazzas are decorated brilliantly with lights you will never forget.  The festive markets add to the atmosphere with gifts ideas for all ages, with special emphasis on the "presepio", the Nativity scenes and the Holy Family in the stable. Bagpipe players perform on the streets starting eight days before Christmas, singing the most moving folk songs. Traditional feasts of the holiday season with special dishes and delicacies for most days. Christmas in Italy is intended to spend quality time with family and friends. Some businesses may close for 2 weeks or more. This trip is perfect for a family and friends to enjoy a traditional holiday and spend quality time. It is typical for this tour to be arranged in a private Villa to maximize enjoyment.

History
Campania is one of the most inspiring and intriguing regions in Italy. Evidence of history from 1600 BC can be found in this region, from the first Greek settlers, to the Roman influence and rule. The terrain is comprised of majestic volcanoes, lush mountainside, sparkling sea, and limestone cliffs, decorated by the nature of the Mediterranean influences.
